What runs the service

Every dedi.ie server is a KVM/QEMU virtual machine on a dedicated bare-metal host in Dublin. Each plan is a ready-made configuration: a standard shared-CPU build, a CPU-pinned build, a GPU build with a dedicated graphics card, or an HBA build with your own drives attached directly. You get the exact machine you ordered, on hardware we run ourselves.

How a service is provisioned

From the customer portal at /portal/:

  1. Choose a plan. Pick the tier that matches the CPU, memory, storage and any GPU or storage-controller setup you need.
  2. Place the order. Confirm the plan in the portal and pay by bank transfer or card-on-file. We reserve capacity on a host for your order.
  3. Get the IP and console. When your server is ready you receive its IP address and a link to the web console, and the server is yours to use.
